Piano Bar is an opportunity for the musical theatre and cabaret community to gather in a social and relaxed environment. For the uninitiated, open mic is basically karaoke for theatre folk! We provide the piano player, an invariably witty host and the sheet music and you provide the talent. It's a great opportunity to belt out your signature tune, test out a new audition piece or woo a fellow cast member with your winning rendition of ‘summer nights'. You don't have to be a professional, you don't even have to be good, just have a drink and have a go!

For those of you wanting to relax after your Sunday rehearsal The Opium Den provides the perfect ambience. The Bar will be open all evening with happy hour specials each week and for the post dance rehearsal munchies; there will be a chef on hand churning out fresh satay sticks to tantalise the tastebuds.

The evening also provides the theatre community with a regular industry night. Please come along and chat to our hosts about promoting your latest show, handing out flyers and of course getting the cast up on stage! Like all new ventures, Piano Bar needs your support.
