The Butcher and the Doctor are up to something and the Newsman sniffs a story that will embroil them all in a devious and most sinister plot. Follow their escapades as they traverse the desert, ten thousand leagues beneath the surface of the earth in an organic subterranean vehicle!

Inspired by 1920s radio, back-shed invention and the unique Australian outback, Chronicles of a Sleepless Moon is an exquisitely crafted, bizarrely funny fairytale for grown-ups.

The Suitcase Royale is a cross-artform performance ensemble dedicated to collaboratively creating new works of the imagination with an eye to detail and an ambition to construct complex performances that impart the simplest of tales. Miles O’Neil, Glen Walton and Joseph O’Farrell (JOF) thought of themselves as a rock ‘n’ roll band when they began devising their first theatre show. The result – Felix Listens to the World – showcased the trio’s unique aesthetic using found objects, puppetry, shadowplay, ingenious use of non-theatrical lighting and strange inventions to tell a simple story in a wonderfully original way. Junkyard Theatre was born.

Felix went on to win Best Performance at Melbourne Fringe 2004 and has been greeted by enthusiastic audiences and critical acclaim from Sydney to North America, at the Melbourne International Arts Festival 2005 and Adelaide Fringe 2006. Chronicles continues this tradition and returns to Melbourne for the Comedy Festival following sell-out seasons in Sydney and at the Commonwealth Games youth cultural festival and Black Lung Theatre in Melbourne
