For a drunken Irish man, life can be a breeze. For a drunken old man with a nagging wife, life can be exhausting. Throw them in a hotel and life couldn’t be simpler.
‘Twas was a balmy night before breakfast, when all through the hotel, not a creature was stirring, not even a Gazelle. The keys to the room were dangling behind the desk, in hopes that someone would come and stay, so Pedro could pay his cheques.
Mavis and Roger were meant to be nestled away in bed, except when down below in the foyer, a fumble, a stumble and a bright light got turned on instead.
A clatter, a bang, drunken Pedro couldn’t be madder, a man in a black hoodie wondering what the feck was the matter. Stunned like a Willy Wagtail with no where to go, Mavis and Roger came down the stairs to say hello.
Pull up a seat, rest those old feet, welcome to Hotel Pedro, you’re in for a treat.
