Immersive, sensory theatre based on the work of Harry Harlow, the first psychologist to explore the nature of love.
The Harry Harlow Project is theatre based on the life of one of the most controversial scientists of the 20th Century, whose work became the foundation for everything science now accepts about nurturing and neglect in the modern world.
Dr Harry Harlow was the first psychologist to explore the nature of love, and his groundbreaking experiments with baby rhesus monkeys brought him both fame and infamy in the scientific world. Submerged in his work into the darker side of emotions, his own personal struggles became equally disquieting.
This premiere production combines all the theatre arts to create an immersive laboratory of the mind - a place where Harry's ideas, emotions, memories, ethics and demons reside - a perfect Petri dish for the work that has been the source of so much benefit, consternation, admiration and hatred.
Directed by Brian Lipson, with extraordinary sound and video by designers Kelly Ryall and Martyn Coutts - don't miss The Harry Harlow Project from this multi-award winning team.
