Dancehouse
Dancehouse is one of Melbourne's most exciting venues for innovative dance and physical theatre. It is also one of the key centres for choreographic and contemporary dance development in Australia.

Since 1992 Dancehouse has built its reputation as a performance venue and rehearsal space for the independent community. Through its curated performance seasons, space grants and residencies, Dancehouse provides the independent dance community with opportunities for creative and professional development and for the public presentation of their work. Dancehouse also presents specialised workshops and classes, with opportunities for performance partnerships and exchange.

The building houses two well equipped performance spaces, seating between 60 – 100 people. Both spaces have floors which are maintained for dance and are not suitable for all types of performance. The costs of venue hire are determined on receipt of the application. Applications for venue hire are welcome at any time. Application forms are available from the Dancehouse website or by contacting info@dancehouse.com.au
