Please note this is voluntary role, there is no funding to cover chorus members fees.
Performers must be available (not negotiable):
* Each Thursday night rehearsal from 12 Oct-9 Nov
* Every day of production Week 12–17 Nov
* Every Night of Performance 16 Nov–3 Dec
Audition details
Please prepare: 1 minute of a monologue, 1 minute of a song (no accompanying music permitted but please bring along musical instrument if you play one)
Please bring: Resume and head shot
Date: Sunday 8th October
Time: 10am-2pm
Where: Rehearsal Room, The Meat Market, 5 Blackwood Street, North Melbourne
Chorus members will be required to play supplementary roles in the production, to sing and to direct audience to performance areas.
Performers must be over 18 years of age.

Theatre @ Risk performance workshops
Artistic Director Chris Bendall will be running a nine-week acting workshop on working with text. Guest Workshop leaders include Simon Kingsley-Hall (Physical Theatre Specialist), Julianne Eveleigh (Voice & Alexander Technique Specialist) and Victor Bizzotto (Theatre @ Risk Associate Director.)
During the 9 weeks of this course, participants will have the opportunity to develop their craft as actors with intensive guidance from qualified theatre professionals.
The course will specialise in working with text, with scripts sourced from contemporary stage and screen texts. We will explore approaches to performing contemporary writing, with focus on character development, voice, physical theatre and movement, status, impulse and improvisation.
The workshop will culminate in an informal presentation of short scenes rehearsed and developed over the course. The course is designed for performers with some previous experience.
