Is a playtext literature or a starting point for performance? Thousands of writers submit scripts for the annual Short & Sweet 10-minute play writing competition.

A panel of emerging and established writers for the theatre discuss how they approach the act of imagining and writing theatrical pieces and the challenge of collaborating with actors and directors.

The panel includes renowned playwright and novelist Joanna Murray-Smith, Kit Lazaroo Wal Cherry Play of the Year Award winner, Alex Broun Short & Sweet Artistic Coordinator and Ross Mueller, director and playwright.
