From 2010 Actor training at the National Theatre enters a new era with the replacement of the current three year part-time Diploma with a three year full-time Advanced Diploma.

Given the closure of many traditional TAFE and University training courses in the performing arts this development in a major private institution is to be applauded.

As one of the three original schools set up by Gertrude Johnson in the 1930s it is wonderful that it still expands and grows with the Industry's needs.
