Cafe Latte - World Premiere - Auditions
Auditions for "Cafe Latte" by Drew Lane are now open. Make sure you book in to be a part of this wickedly irreverent musical comedy!
From the mind of award winning composer Drew Lane (Marking Life, The Impossible Princess, Atlantis) comes “Café Latte” – a wickedly irreverent black musical comedy – in its first ever season, playing from May 28 to June 6, 2009.

Set in a café somewhere in Melbourne, “Café Latte” tells the stories of the owner and his employees over one night. There’s Dave, the owner of the cafe and a gambling addict; Kelly, the gay guy who will chat up anything with three legs; Melinda, the bi-sexual tramp who has a very innocent little secret; Joanne, a struggling mother with another on the way, who quietly has the hots for the boss; Samantha, a high school drop out who has been sleeping around with one of the other employee's partner; and John, the wanna-be Jimi Hendrix who keeps setting fire to the local RSL stage...

All work at the same Cafe, and in one night, their lives will be changed forever.

This is place where anything goes, nothing is sacred, and the politically incorrect is normal!

Auditions are now open for this World Premiere, to be staged in Mornington, Victoria by CEF players who previously held the world premieres of “Marking Life” and “The Impossible Princess”. Call Dawn Laity on (03) 5975 6671 to book your audition.

Don't miss out on this chance to stamp your mark on a new musical!
