Melbourne French Theatre Inc. is seeking an experienced director for its upcoming plays in French with English surtitles or in bilingual form with English surtitles to be presented in 2008 and beyond.

Melbourne French Theatre Inc. is seeking an experienced director for its upcoming plays in French with English surtitles or in bilingual form with English surtitles to be presented in 2008 and beyond.
Knowledge of French an advantage but not compulsory for suitable candidate as we have native speakers who assist.
The duties are for the Production :
  • artistic and creative direction
  • conduct auditions and select cast
  • conduct rehearsals to performance
  • staging and presentation
  • supervision of video filming and edit.

Director’s fee is negotiable. A Job description is available. The successful candidate will sign a contract and must have an ABN [independent fee contract] and will report to the Executive Director/Producer.
