The Act-O-Matic 3000 continues to move from strength to strength, producing an exciting mix of dynamic theatre. In 2005 it won the Green Room Award for Best Production (Independent Theatre) for The Laramie Project.

Based in Melbourne, The Act-O-Matic 3000 has premiered a number of powerful Australian and international works. Some examples have been successful seasons of The Return by Reg Cribb, bash and Autobahn by Neil Labute, Bedtime for Bastards by Van Badham and Italian American Reconciliation by John Patrick Shanley.

The Act-O-Matic has received nominations for 'Best Production of the Fringe' for its Fringe seasons of bash (Melbourne) and Italian American Reconciliation (WA).
