David Chesworth Ensemble features a vast array of orchestral and exotic instruments in a feast of striking, scraping, blowing, shaking, pushing, pulling and plucking.
Chesworth draws on a wide range of musical genres and sound sources and then layers them in unusual, unpredictable ways.
Since its formation in 1993, the Ensemble has introduced new audiences to this evocative music through a dynamic and accessible program of recordings and concerts.
Members are: Jeremy Alsop bass, David Chesworth electronics, Hope Csutoros violin, Xenia Hanusiak percussion, Helen Mountfort cello, Simon Myers trombone, Peter Neville percussion and John McAll piano.
