David Corbet
David Corbet is a Melbourne-based multidisciplinary artist working primarily in dance and music. He has developed and created work as a musician, composer, dancer, choreographer, director and editor.

He has a strong practice in performance improvisation in a duet with Jacob Lehrer, as a member of State of Flux, and as a founder and director of The Boys. He has composed music for many dance pieces and collaborated with choreographers Simon Ellis, Rosalind Crisp, Shannon Bott, Shaun McLeod, Paul Romano and Felicity MacDonald extensively.

He edits and publishes Proximity magazine under the banner of Slightly Moving Productions. Proximity is devoted to improvisational movement and new dance practices, and is moving into it's 10th year of publication.

Current projects include dad.project and microflicks both of which are being developed in collaboration with Simon Ellis.
