9minds
A local theatre company that is dedicated to the creation, production and promotion of Australian work.

Formed in late 2004, 9minds is gaining a dynamic reputation as a producer of new Australian work.

The company's first production, French Day, was performed to sell out audiences at the Melbourne MidSumma Festival in early 2005. Since then, 9minds has performed four times at the Arts Centre, Victoria, twice with the acclaimed Angels with Dirty Faces (BlackBox 2005 and George Fairfax Studio 2007).

Demonstrating their commitment to new Australian work, in April 2008 9minds associate produced Ollie and the Minotaur from 9minds9works 2007, readings of nine new Australian works at the Arts Centre.  In March 2008 9minds produced Kill the Wolf, a second play from the reading series.  Both productions received exceptional reviews.

Upcoming events for 9minds includes 9minds9works 2008 a new season of readings from July 2008 featuring playwrights Ross Mueller, Lally Katz, Kit Lazaroo, Anthony Crowley, Alex Broun, Noëlle Janaczewska, Gareth Ellis, Jane Harrison and Kevin McGrath.
