It is said that true beauty lies within, but when your soul has withered away, your outward appearance is all you have to work with.
Hose tells the story of condemned woman Isabelle, who seeks sanctuary in a Beauty Salon, deep within the shopping malls of Suburbia.
As beautician Jody performs treatments on Isabelle, her superficial layers are peeled away and the details of a brutal revenge crime she has committed are revealed.
True beauty may well lie within but vanity is most certainly a curse.
Hose is Bridget Mackey’s debut work with MKA, brought to the stage by exciting new VCA trained director Alister Smith.
Hose plays as part of the MKA Double Bill with Tinkertown
