The Chunky Move Studios are Melbourne’s premiere, purpose-built dance studios. Chunky Move is housed in Ngargee – a world-class, multidisciplinary arts precinct catering for visual artists, theatre and dance. 

The Chunky Move Studios are Melbourne’s premiere, purpose-built dance studios. They feature large, useable spaces, sprung floors, halogen lighting, natural light from stunning skylights, versatile power facilities, building amenities and security. 

Chunky Move holds rehearsals, dance classes, open rehearsals, showings of works-in-progress, performances and forums in the two studios. The Studios are also engaged by many of Australia’s independent dance practitioners through Maximised, Chunky Move’s dance support program.
